Butte Watchdogs is a small, citizen-based community nonprofit focused on proper Superfund remediation & restoration of Butte after over 100 years of environmental degradation. The Watchdogs hold both the polluters and all levels of government responsible while welcoming supporter involvement.
 

Headed by Sister Mary Jo McDonald, Butte Watchdogs believes in Social and Environmental Justice (SEJ) rooted in transparency, accountability, & morality. Watchdogs demands and Butte deserves quality, timely, science-based solutions for the Butte Superfund cleanup, done to the highest standard.
